This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above. This quiver is great for LARPers, especially those wanting to keep a reserve of bolts on their hip during a battle. Rivets attach the black loop to the quiver. Also, there is a thin leather loop for sliding it onto a belt, not included. At the top, the quiver closes with leather ties. The sides of the quiver have vertical quilting. There is stitched leather trim at the bottom of the quiver. Made from suede leather, this brown bolt quiver holds up to 10 bolts. If you want a quiver that doesn't hang off your waist then you'd be much better off buying yourself a back quiver,, they are more practical in every single way than the style of quiver you've linked to and while they are most popular amongst traditional archers I've seen plenty of recurve and compound shooters who use them.As you sneak up on the enemy, you pull a crossbow bolt from the Arnulf Suede Bolt Quiver and load your bow. Firstly, whenever you sit down you'll find the arrows stick well past your lower back, so you have to perch on the front edge of any seat, and secondly there's a very good chance that as you sit down they're all gonna fall straight out of the quiver. The Crossbow Bolt Quiver is a necessity for any user of a crossbow, as it allows you to protect and carry your bolts with ease. Shooting a tournament you'll spend half the day sitting down, between ends you'll go and have a seat while you've got a few minutes while the other detail shoots, you'll have an hour for lunch and you're not gonna stay standing through all of that, and then a couple of other breaks during the day for distance changes. It also features a strap on the back, allowing you to transport this quiver anywhere. Lastly, if you want to get into tournaments then that introduces another massive problem. This isn't something you can do with this style of quiver. Look at a normal quiver and there's multiple pockets because it's very convenient to have room in your quiver to put your tab between ends, keep a scorebook, pen, phone, bracer, and any other bits and pieces you might need on you while shooting. Then you have the fact that they are only good for holding arrows, and nothing else. There's a reason why there aren't many of them for sale, and it's because they are incredibly unpopular.įor a start, while you don't have your quiver bumping into your leg as you walk they are incredibly noisy because there's a lot of movement and you'll spend your entire day listening to your arrows rattle. ![]() ![]() Links to other archery content around the webĪ guide for buying your first recurve, by /u/FerrumVeritas!Ī guide to recurve risers (2021) also by /u/FerrumVeritas!Ī guide for buying your first compound, by /u/ILikeCatsOnPillows!Ī guide to the various disciplines in archeryĪdditions to the above tables are welcome!
